Gbadamosi, a Chartered Librarian, has a doctorate in Library and Information Studies as well as a Bachelor in Education and a Master’s in Library Studies (MLS) all from the University of Ibadan.
The Council of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA)
has appointed Dr. Belau Olatunde Gbadamosi as the new University Librarian with
effect from August 1, 2016.
Gbadamosi, a Chartered Librarian,
has a doctorate in Library and Information Studies as well as a Bachelor in
Education and a Master’s in Library Studies (MLS) all from the University of
Ibadan.
He started his career at the
Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Lanlate Campus, Oyo State in 1991 and
rose through the ranks to become the College Librarian in 2010.
He joined Fountain University,
Osogbo, Osun State in September 2012 as the University Librarian before his
recent appointment by FUTA.
Gbadamosi, a member of the
Nigerian Library Association (NLA) and Member, Library Registration Council of
Nigeria (LRCN) has a lot of publications in both International and local
Journals to his credit.
