The president of cab service company, Jeff Jones has reportedly quit his job. This happens less than seven months after he joined the company.
In a statement released by Jones, he said he could no longer be part of a company he was not compatible with.
“I can no longer continue as president of the ride sharing business,” Jones said. “I joined Uber because of its mission, and the challenge to build global capabilities that would help the company mature and thrive long term..." “It is now clear, however, that the beliefs and approach to leadership that have guided my career are inconsistent with what I saw and experienced at Uber".
Jones who joined Uber from Target Corp where he worked as chief marketing officer wished the "thousands of amazing people at the company" well.
Uber spokesperson in a statement thanked Jeff for his six-monthe stay at the company and wished him well.
