Veteran Nollywood actor, Prince James Uche has been pronounced dead.
According to reports, the actor who has been battling diabetes, blindness, high blood pressure and kidney-related diseases for the past eight years died yesterday afternoon while on his way to a private hospital in Festac, Lagos for his routine dialysis.
The actor’s condition was said to have worsened last Sunday, as he had been unconscious since then.
While speaking to the press, the chairman, Lagos State chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Mr. Don Pedro Aganbi confirmed the incident, stating that the deceased was due to travel to India this Saturday for a kidney transplant.
