The government of Zamfara State, North-West Nigeria has expressed its desire to employ about 1000 primary school teachers as a way of addressing the problem of inadequate primary school teachers in the state.
The state governor, AbdulAziz Yari , represented by his deputy, Malam Ibrahim Wakkala announced this today at the 2017 May Day celebration held in Gusau , the state capital.
According to him, only candidates with National Certificate of Education (NCE) would be employed as teachers. He equally stated that this massive recruitment would contribute highly towards enhancing the teaching and learning process in the state's primary schools, as well as create employment for unemployed graduates in the state.
Yari equally commended the state's labour union for their cooperation and understanding in addressing the demands of workers in the state.
