A 400 level student of Nnamdi Azikiwe Universiy, Awka, Anambra State has been found dead in the room of her hostel security guard where she had allegedly slept off after smoking marijuana.
According to UNIZIK Parrot, the sad event took place in one Anita lodge, close to Royal bed hostel, in Ifite, UNIZIK permanent site.
Based on reports, the young girl had allegedly gone to the room of the Hausa security guard to charge her phone when she saw him smoking weed and asked for some. She allegedly slept off afterwards and was killed by the fumes coming from a generaor set in the room.
The security man is said to be in a coma and is currently being attended to at the hospital.
