Unfortunately, the organizers at Agidingbi, Ikeja Centre could not keep up with time, as there was a problem that persisted for over four hours for the 1:30pm set of examinees.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board 2017 examinations which started on Saturday, the 13th of May 2017 and would come to an end on the 20th of May 2017, have for the past few years been trying hard to maintain an hitch free examination across the country, but even yet, issues manage to crop up.
The examination was scheduled to include three sections for the day, which were the 7:00am section, the 9:00am section, and the 1:30pm section.
Unfortunately, the organizers at Agidingbi, Ikeja Centre could not keep up with time, as there was a problem that persisted for over four hours for the 1:30pm set of examinees. The hitch was said to be as a result of the computer systems error and a bad network coverage.
Moreover, one of the examinee, Abraham Olanifesi, complained of the fact that they had to wait under a scorching sun without even been addressed for hours and that he had been at the centre since 11:00am for an examination he had to take at 1:30pm, only for him to have started late in the evening.
The examinees, at the end of the day had no choice but to wait till evening time, so as to start the examination at about 5:00pm and ended minutes past 8:00pm. The JAMB examination continues the next day across the country and the best is expected of the Board during the process.
